Movement Flux

Sliding from side to side
Feel the beat in your feet
You are unable to decide
Where each of them will meet

The bass flows through you
Bouncing in every bone
Your body knows what to do
It seems like you’re all alone

There is a primal feeling
Rising inside like a beast
It tells you to start jumping
And to never cease

There are drums in your head
Beating to an exotic rhythm
Focusing on what has been said
Trying hard to dim them

A wave of people to the floor
As they all move in tight
You can no longer see the door
They will rave until it is light

The song starts to climax
Melodically caressing your mind
The momentum begins to tax
As your body starts to bind

Your breathing begins to thin
The DJ looks you in the eyes
As the world begins to spin
It’s as if everyone else dies

The sweat beads on your face
There are bends in your tux
Trying to keep with the pace
This is what’s called a movement flux
